So, getting Dollfie bodies is tough for Canadians again. I seem to remember there being a way of shipping that cost $17US. It was the same for 1 body as it was for a bunch but that was the end of it. NOW they appear to have done away with it in favor of only working through UPS. UPS Standard to Cana . . . (

As a child, I had a plush toy and figurine of a sea monster character named "Seapoon". My brother had his initial in toy form as well It's driven me insane for years because I couldn't find any info on them. I'd google and people would mention them but never say WHERE they came from. Well, I fo . . . (

Was poking around YJ and found this doll. I was wondering what she was made from since the fingers splay out like an old Kelly body. Then I organized by price and, boom, found it. She is made from a World Doll/World Kids/Whatever doll. See? She's wearing Holland's dress. Those dolls are so cute, I j . . . (

A week or so ago I had a dream that the local grocery store started still Volks Dollfie bodies as well as finished dolls. I was pretty excited but I also noticed that an Eb-N I had been working on was there for $19.99! It had fallen out of my bag when I had been in the store and been put on the rack . . . (

Gaiz, I have a Peteena. Her name is Anya and she's been rerooted with a Raspberry Sorbet nylon center part. Come! Look!
You know, some people hate nylon. This was my first time using it. I do still prefer saran but if I need a certain color and I can't get it in saran I WILL use nylon. Nylo . . . (

I wish there were more MLP customizers on Flickr. Hasbro used (uses?) nylon for it's ponies so Dolly Hair seems to get alot of business from the customizers. The color reference group is pretty low on DH examples.
I was looking at Strawberry Fair's MLP Rehairing Service because DH lin . . . (

I love the way the vintage Liccas have the little stick-out ears. If they put out a fashion doll here and now with ears like that, I'd probably buy one and put many many little rings in them.
You know, if I had lots and lots of money, I'd buy a fancy expensive Blythe doll. I' . . . (

I had a thirft store dream last night. I was poking through their toy bins and found a 1991 Raspberry Tart and a vintage one. They were both priced higher than I wanted to pay but I felt I couldn't leave either behind, the 91 because of her rarity and the vintage because she was totally perfect.

The What's Her Face doll wigs have a vinyl scalp. Now, I can't mold vinyl but you know what's also flexible and plastic-y? Hot glue. I got out a spare Boyz head I had, put two layers of saran wrap over it, a layer of netting, outlined the hairline then filled it in with glue. After setting, it pulle . . . (
